Katherine’s career began at the tender age of eight, when she designed a decorative border for the Easter edition of her school newsletter. Thus began a passion for visual communication that has seen her involved in the design and re-design of some of the best-known editorial publications in Australia and Asia. Katherine is no stranger to the Art Director’s chair or the realities of implementing a creative strategy, having been actively involved in training top-level design staff on publications both nationally and internationally. Closer to home, Katherine also plays a key role in the mentoring and development of de Luxe’s up-and-coming designers. Aside from creating award-winning editorial designs with de Luxe, Katherine also lectures on Magazine Design; both to university students, and to anyone else who will listen.
