







We’ve had 17 years to work out exactly what true ‘visual communications’ entails, and we think we’ve finally cracked it. We use our design experience together with our understanding of the way business works to help our clients really use the power of the visual in all forms of communication, whether written, spoken, communicated one-on-one or en masse.
We’ve built our expertise around designing magazines, newspapers and journals. As our experience and track record has grown, so have our abilities to provide the most successful outcomes for complex, challenging and unusual projects.
As well as continuing to work at the forefront of editorial and publication design both in Australia and internationally, we’re also heavily involved in designing corporate ‘culture change’ programs through to strategising new products. As well as forming long-term advisory, coaching and mentoring relationships with our clients.
All of this stems from our belief in working intimately with our clients, to create the magic that happens when an audience is surprised and delighted by a product, and to make sure it can continue to grow and flourish. Take for example, the following case studies.

We were called in to help the Monash Graduate School of Business build their profile. With no dedicated campus, they needed to let potential students and clients know who they were, and how much credibility the school had.
Working in conjunction with Greg Hywood (former editor-in-chief of The Age), we developed the concept of an appealing cross-breed publication. It would have the intellect and credibility of an academic journal with the appeal and desirability of a magazine. We put together a national editorial and design team and continued to consult to the editorial board, and Art Direct the journal to numerous awards.

Primed is a firm specialising in designing and facilitating large-scale corporate culture change programs for some of Australia’s biggest organisations. After careful research and analysis, conferences, seminars and workshop events are created using the dramatic arts as a major communication tool. We work with Primed as a Creative Partner to conceptualise and design the visual side of the message. These projects span a huge range of creative outputs, from designing workbooks, through to developing bespoke games, animations and identities for each project.
